Interim Management

  • Concept

    • Why is the interim manager a manager from outside, an outsider?
    • The main 4 reasons for this are;
      • an outsider is not corrupted by a career perspective
      • objectivity, unaffected by the history and culture of the organisation and has a fresh outlook of the problem
      • has broad practical experience gained elsewhere and can make recommendations based on this and lead similar interim processes
      • more credible and is also a clear signal to the organisation to tackle the problem
